Delete Your Account & Data

To delete your Subsly account and all associated data, open the Subsly app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact us directly via email.

1. Your Right to Data Deletion

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Subsly. We are committed to honoring your data rights promptly and transparently.

2. What Data Gets Deleted

When you request account and data deletion, the following information is permanently removed:

  • Your account profile (name, email, password)
  • All subscription records you have added
  • Stored credentials and credential vault data
  • Billing history and payment records
  • Usage statistics and analytics data
  • Notification preferences and settings
  • Device tokens and push notification identifiers
  • Any AI-generated insights tied to your account
Note: Some anonymised, aggregated data (not linked to you personally) may be retained for statistical purposes. Data required by law (e.g., tax records) may be retained for the legally required period, after which it will be deleted.

3. How to Submit a Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

In-App Deletion

Open Subsly → SettingsAccountDelete Account. Your data is deleted immediately upon confirmation.

Email Request

Send a deletion request to privacy@subsly.app from your registered email address. Include your account email for verification.

Support Form

Use our Support Page to submit a data deletion ticket. Select "Data & Privacy" as the category.

4. Deletion Timeline

We process all data deletion requests as quickly as possible. Here is our timeline commitment:

Backup copies are purged within 30 days of the initial deletion. Legal retention data (if applicable) is held separately and deleted upon expiry of the legal period.

5. Verification

To protect your account from unauthorised deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing an email or support-based request. Verification methods include:

  • Sending the request from your registered email address
  • Confirming a one-time verification code sent to your email
  • Providing your account username or last known subscription entry

6. Consequences of Deletion

Please be aware of the following before submitting a deletion request:

  • Permanent: Account deletion is irreversible. Your data cannot be recovered after deletion.
  • Subscription Loss: Any active paid subscription plan will be cancelled and is non-refundable (unless required by applicable law).
  • Access Revoked: You will immediately lose access to the Subsly app and all its features.
  • New Account: You may create a new Subsly account in the future using the same or a different email address.

7. Data Portability (Export Before Deletion)

Before deleting your account, you can export a copy of your data. To request a data export:

  • Go to Settings → Account → Export My Data in the app, or
  • Email privacy@subsly.app with the subject line "Data Export Request"

We will provide your data in a standard machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) within 7 business days.

8. Third-Party Data

Deleting your Subsly account will remove your data from our systems. However, data held by third-party services we use (such as Firebase Analytics, payment processors) may be subject to their own retention policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies directly:
